My Daughter had a screw in her tire. I took the tire off of the car and into Mr. Tire to get it fixed at 11am. I called them at 4pm and Kevin said they just finished the repair. When I went in to pick up the tire Kevin told me it would be $33.99. I told Kevin I had a coupon for a free flat repair. I handed it to him. He said that would now be $10.39. He told me that the coupon only covers Tire repair/Patch and rebalancing but I would have to pay $9.39 for mounting and balancing $.06 sales tax and $.94 shop supply fee. I guess FREE FLAT REPAIR doesn't mean totally free!!??
The kindness, patience and thoughtful attitude we were met with from Nick was beyond what I'd expect from a repair shop. He helped us work thru what parts we would need and how long it would take to get everything and the work completed, working in deals when he was able to bring down our overall cost.I had both of my children with me and as wild as they were in the show room, he never flinched.
The work was completed within one day and my car is driving great and I feel safe again. While we didn't expect to put this much work or money into this car, I'm so glad we chose Mr. Tire in Mount Airy to have it done. They have easily gained a return customer!!
Good prices and good service. My relative needed a blown out spark plug repaired quickly. It broke Friday evening, and they fixed it Saturday morning.
Chris and John we're able to provide me professional advice about my tire repair. Jackie was the technician that worked on my tire repair and did an excellent job with the repair. I was expecting to keep the tire there for a few hours at least and they were able to get it repaired in less than an hour. I may need to call Mr. Tire auto service "my tire and auto service"!
Take multiple cars here for oil change, brakes, tires. Always felt that they were honest and very fair. Daughter's car got a flat last week and she needed 2 tires. She also feels they treated her very fairly. My 80-something Mom thought she needed brakes and I told her to go here. She took her car in today. They looked at them and said that her brakes were ok, but maybe the noise was from dirt. Now, many shops would have just sold her brakes even though she didn't need them. I'm very happy that they are honest and do what's right and don't take advantage of people!
